About

I’m a mum to two little boys. I live in sunny bedfordshire with my husband and kiddies, to say that I have my hands full with a toddler and a baby is an understatment! When I’m not on maternity leave I work pretty much full time for a local council and do a little consultancy work.

  5. Hi there, great site! I definitely know a few little double dippers! : )

I’m working with Carbon Trust to raise awareness of one small thing we can all do to help the UK reach our very challenging targets.

Our research has found that mums are more inclined to do their bit for climate change for the benefit of protecting their families and keeping everyday costs down. Therefore we would like your help:

Would you help us through these three actions?

    1. Add this link to any postings you’re writing on topics such as green living, energy saving, eating green or green travel. ‘Carbon Trust have created an infographic that explains why business holds the key to meeting UK carbon reduction targets. If you click yes on this site, they’ll use your support to get more businesses to prove carbon reduction. http://www.carbontruststandard.com/cutcarbon or http://bit.ly/hUwEr3

    2. Tweet a message such as this out to your followers and your LinkedIn/Facebook groups

    Twitter
Please RT for #ClimateWeek ‘Click YES here http://bit.ly/hUwEr3 to support more UK businesses proving carbon reduction #CutCarbon

    3. Add this wording to your email signature from 21 March to 15 April to drive people towards the site

I believe in UK businesses leading the way in carbon reduction. Click here http://bit.ly/hUwEr3 to show your support, too.

Many thanks for your time, it really is a worthwhile action and one that requires no money and minimal time. For more information on Carbon Trust, visit http://www.thecarbontrust.co.uk
