BMB Carnival

I asked everyone to let me know about a highlight of the summer now that the days are getting cold, the kids are snotty and the chocolate and tea induced winter weight is starting to pile on again (or is that just me?).

So here we are with our summer highlights – sunglasses at the ready ladies?

Like many of us Mummy from the Heart had a summer holiday in the UK and chose as her highlight the first day of their holiday through her kids eyes. Carrying on with the holiday theme the lovely Irish Daddy (who is also my lovely husband!) finds paradise is in Goathland with a pint of real ale after a long trek up hill (carrying first a toddler and then a pushchair!). My highlight came from the same holiday – watching my big boy screaming with delight in the sea, rolling in the sand and sharing chips with us all – including my Sister making our family holiday even more of a great big family holiday.

Well there you are – our highlights as Mums and Dads of a summer with our lovely, challenging little ones. I hope you enjoyed your summer and reading about everyone elses.
